Mommy & Me Poetry, Painting & Play!
A creative afternoon for mothers and their little ones.
Each month, we’ll explore a new poet or artist, inspired by creators like Maya Angelou, Emily Dickinson, or Frida Kahlo and create art inspired by their work.
Together you will:
🎨 Paint a guided art piece
📖 Listen to a short poetry reading
🖊 Write simple, heart-centered lines
🌿 Enjoy intentional time connecting
This Month: BRING MESSY CLOTHES FOR PAINTINGS WE WILL BE DOING! (APRONS WILL BE PROVIDED AS WELL)
While the children paint and explore, moms will:
Deepthen their relationship with themselves
Use poetry or writing prompts for self care
Relax and connect with other women
Have space to breathe
This is play with purpose.
Creativity for them. Nourishment for you.
Best for ages 5–10.
All basic supplies included. Fees go towards cost of supplies, paints, and art needed for each monthly workshop.
We will spend 60 minutes creating art, painting, and poetic lines, and then the option for the kids to play for 30 minutes at the park!
One Ticket will include Mom and child, if you need to get an extra ticket for another child please select the child only option, you are required to stay with you child during the workshop. You cannot drop off and come back.

Mother's Day Poetry Workshop with your Hot Poet Helena Rose:
We've got THE not-to-be-missed day planned for you May 9th; Come downtown Caldwell for some brunch, hit up Destination Caldwell's Mother's Day Market (from 10am-3pm) and then head to the bookstore for a poetry workshop to make the perfect gift for the mothers & every kind of woman in your life.
The Craft:
We'll be finding our lines of poetry, carefully created for our loved one and then making a one-of-a-kind artifact with your hand-typed poem placed with flower pressings hand picked & pressed by you in a little gold frame, making a perfectly unique little keepsake!
Bring your mom and make one for each other or bring your sister or bestie and make one for your moms in secret as a surprise gift! Dads & kiddo's welcome too; we know mom would appreciate the gesture! Who doesn't want a poem of their own to cherish? We really want to just spend a lovely spring day with everyone finding our inner poet & to be in community with you all.
